Behind Zooms Lens

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Massey Students Exhibition 'Behind Zooms Lens'. 

The exhibition was a great dive into the world of hidden tea cups, shirts & pajama bottoms, and propped up laptops. Inviting your colleagues into your home through a tiny camera is a bizarre concept, but we all had to adapt to it. The students showed this blip of alternate reality in gorgeous sepia shot photographs hung in rows. The magnitude of the shots demonstrating the millions of new zoom bedroom scapes. Clever coloured dots showed the build and flex of camera lights throughout the pandemic. Overall it was a clever, probing exhibition - and we loved hosting it.

It was a stark look into our reality over the past few months, but what it allowed us to do is really celebrate that we can host events like these again! Here at the Canape Company, we had to close down our business and stop serving our amazing clients. It really does make you think about the business and really pushed for a bout of creativity. We had to adapt and adjust our business. In doing that, we have to develop the perfect  ways in which we can host and serve you all. We have become the one stop shop for party planning, event styling, and Wellington's best catering.
